In the old city centre of
Rome, in particular in the ancient Esquilino district, there
is a bright and peaceful flat (90 sq m) on the fifth and top
floor of a “stile umbertino” building (the King of Italy
Umberto I, 1878-1900, had many buildings of the district
erected. The elegant style he created was called “stile
umbertino” in his honour.)
The
flat is in a charming spot because the building abuts on
Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II (the biggest Roman square) and
on its local market, on Santa Maria Maggiore (one of the
most important Roman basilicas) and on the Colosseum. For
this reason the flat has excellent links: bus, tram and two
underground stops (Vittorio Emanuele and Termini) are in the
immediate vicinity, and Termini Station (at a range of two
hundred metres, 5 minutes on foot) that is connected by the
non-stop train “Leonardo Express” to “Leonardo da Vinci”
Airport of Fiumicino.
Furthermore, there is a hourly-car park in the nearby.
5° F (with lift): a large
living/dinning room (TV, satellite TV, video recorder and
hi-fi) with a single sofa-bed, a foldaway kitchen (oven,
microwave oven, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine), a
double bedroom fitted with TV, a twin bedded room and a
single bedroom, that are on the loft, two bathrooms with
shower and a boxroom. Comfortable furniture. Independent
heating. Air conditioning. Baby-bed available.
